WFUNA- World Federation of United Nations Associations
Ana is responsible for WFUNA environment projects.
A WFUNA – World Federation of United Nations Association, American non governmental organization, acts in benefits of the connection between peoples around the world.
In 2006 the organization made in Buenos Aires its 38ª Plenary Assembly and International Symposium. The event, which occurs in a space of three years, was made for the first time in a Latin America country.
The conference showed to global society a discussion about society development and the Millennium Development Goals. The subjects are:
• Deals to development: innovator practices in Latin America;
• Millennium Development Goals, 9 years more;
• How to make progress through Millennium Development Goals, surpassing social inequality and improving human rights;
• Public politics dialogs as: citizenship and innovative politics practices.
The event had the participation of politics, business leaders, academics, civil society, ONU representatives, students and United Nation associations of more than 50 countries. Besides, in the event happened a conference to young people from every part of the world.
